Days 24-26
Day 24: Wore this outfit with some black flats that tie around the ankle.
Then I did a quick change to enjoy some drinks.
Day 25: House work mostly, but I got all dolled up to go out to a going away dinner and dancing on SoBe. I wore my comfy Target Black patent Leather Pumps. Sidenote: Guys really like the big bow. I don't know why, but it has some type of gravitational pull.
Day 26: Sorry ya'll. I stayed home to do work and then went to yoga/Sunday dinner. And since gym clothes don't count....nothing to report/post.

Weekly Guest Spot: Hello, my name is Brandi and I'm a Shopaholic...
So with that in mind, I'd like to welcome Brandi to the stage. She believes that cute outfits shouldn't just be saved for special occasions, but worn when the mood strikes. I admire her inner-Diva. She's making life her runway.
Outfit 1: Described as the "Casual Movie Outfit" but I believe the Fruit of the Loom Fruits would really appreciated what she's done with cotton.
Outfit 2: Tinkerbell Skirt. Super cute. Now, I do believe in magic.... **lame attempt at Peter Pan reference** Also, while my girl loves heels, this was a walking outing so cute flats were a necessity.
Outfit 3: Date night!! Looking delish in her cupcake dress.
Days 21-23
Day 22: Off to the practicum again. Ok, so really I had just returned from the VA and staged this picture in the hallway outside my office, but whatever. Grey pants I think I stole from Granny (Vizion shout-out), jade short-sleeved button up, my favorite earrings and black flats (cheap, but ooooo so comfortable)
Day 23: First day of school/happy hour. African print inspired skirt from H&M, Black tee, Red flat sandals, Black/Brown Circle earrings from a festival.
**Thanks to all my classmates who took pictures of these outfits. Haven't had to use the self-timer in 3 days now***

Day 17: Off to work....Black Knee Lenght Shorts/Capri type pants, Green Short Shelved Dress Top, Green and Blue Beaded Necklace and Blue Circle Earrings.
Costume change so I could chill with fellow grad students. Sipping wine and sitting by the pool.

Days 13-15
Day 14: My Miami business casual look. Brown dress shorts/capri thingies, orange Express wrap collared shirt, brown wedges (that practical ones from Target).
Day 15: First day at the VA. And as you can tell, I love Express dress clothes. Black striped pants, blue short sleeved dress shirt and my ugly-comfortable-I-actually-have-to-be-able-to-stand-and-walk-at-my-job black heels.
Changes clothes and goooooo...to Happy Hour. I threw on my H&M dress (well it's mine now anyway), silver Indian store earrings and silver sandals. I had about 2 minutes to change out of work clothes, so yeah this outfit is simple.
Note to self: Treat planning outfits like planning meals. If I don't put forethought into it, I end up with something easy and simple. With food, the meals usually ends up being unhealthy, from a fast food restaurant and messes with my attempts to be healthy. With clothes, I fall back on my favorite items from the typical 2-3 week outfit rotation and increase the chance of repeating an outfit and getting caught by the fashion police (my followers).

Days 8-12
Sorry ya'll. Having no internet in my apt slows the blogging down, but I'm back.
Alrighty, so one of my brilliant followers (**shoutout to Liz**) suggested that I should better identify the days. I have a friend in town on vacation, so once again, lots of going-out/beach pics (I swear I'm in grad school. Just wait for this Tuesday, the fun and games pics will be done :/) So here we go.
Day 8: Jeans, my “Intelligent Sister” shirt (I collected a lot of fun shirts from my HU days), brown flip flops and some fun gold earrings.
Day 9: Yellow Adren B Tunic/Shirt Thingy with Jeans, Black Flip Flops and some very African-diaspora inspired stringed earrings. An outfit that goes straight from school to happy hour.
Then, sushi and delicious cocktails at night dinner at Hot Tuna and clubbing at Mansion on South Beach. And yes, I was hurting ‘em. *This picture was edited to protect the identity of my partner in crime this weekend*
Day 10: Beach Day!!! OMG, I didn’t take a picture. I wore a Forever 21 yellow-wrap dress over my bathing suit with brown flip flops. Then I de-sanded and put on some denim knee length cutoffs (well tight length after a dryer mishap) with the blue shirt with the crochet like detailing you see in this picture for a Happy Hour/BBQ. Oh, and the silver sandals and my favorite earrings that I get TONS of compliments on.
Then, dressed to impress (avoid cover and get free drinks) at the Fifth on SoBe in something I originally purchased to be wore as a shirt/tunic. I added some black and silver earring and wore my black pep-toe ankle strap heels. I love the things I can get away with in Miami.
Day 11: Today, I dressed for the Beach and ended up at the Mall. Darn, you Miami weather. Let’s just say a Marciano/Guess outlet is a dangerous thing. I can’t wait to wear what I bought….and I have to wait, because I can't repeat outfits and I know the perfect shoes to go with the grey/green v-neck banded dress. *no going out/costume change picture since the no-smoking law hasn’t passed in Miami and our lungs were still recovering from two nights in a row *
Day 12: The weather gods smiled upon me and my friend today so it was off to the beach. Below you'll see my favorite mens' camo cargo shorts, bandeau like top and flip flops. I also wore my blue round ambiguously ethnic inspired earrings purchased at a fair. Please excuse my crazy beach hair.
Costume change for an engagement party (that I was 5 hours late for, but since my dress was so cute, they didn’t mind). Shout out to the Clothes Swap for providing this outfit!!!Lots of compliment on the dress as well as the assets it displayed.
